SOUTHERN African Network Against Corruption (SANAC) Executive Director Gregory Chifire says the acquittal of former president Edgar Lungu’s Economic Advisor Hibeene Mwiinga should serve as an opportunity for reflection on how corruption cases are pursued. On Friday, the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court acquitted Mwiinga, his son Hakaantu and wife, Mercy Munsanje, in a matter in which they were facing 72 corruption-related charges.
