THE 2025 Electoral Reform Technical Committee report has recommended amending the Constitution to include a provision to the effect that the presidential candidate and running mate must be of different genders. The Report has further recommended that Articles 116 and 117 of the Constitution be amended to provide for the appointment of cabinet ministers from outside Parliament.
