GREEN Economy and Environment Minister Mike Mposha says Zambia has not been spared from the effects of climate change which has emerged as one of the most pressing issues affecting social economic development. Speaking at the Launch of the NAP EXPO 2025, Mposha said the change in climate impacted human health with extreme heat leading to an increase in infectious diseases, including malaria. “Rising temperatures and changes in precipitation patterns are affecting crop yields and livestock production, leading to crop failures, livestock losses and increasing food and insecurity.
