LOCAL Government and Rural Development Minister Gift Sialubalo says government is working on finding a lasting solution to the low recovery rate of loans disbursed under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF). He disclosed that government will soon call for proposals on how best to recover these loans. On Tuesday, Kamfinsa PF MP Christopher Kang’ombe urged government to exclude political players such as Ward Development Committee members, councillors and Members of Parliament from the CDF loan approval process in order to improve repayments.
