AFTER announcing his grand return to active politics and vowing to take on President Hakainde Hichilema, Mr Edgar Lungu is back at the door of government, knocking and begging for his retirement benefits to be reinstated. This is a very bizarre move considering the confidence and determination that the former president demonstrated when he declared himself a political rival of his successor. What we are hearing from the Lusaka High Court is that Mr Lungu is seeking a declaration that the withdrawal of his pension benefits was illegal, discriminatory and unconstitutional.
