THE cost of living for a family of five in Lusaka has decreased by K274.85, according to the Jesuit Centre for Theological Reflection (JCTR’s) Basic Needs and Nutrition Basket (BNNB). The JCTR BNNB for March 2023 in Lusaka stood at K9,003.21 from the K9,278.06 recorded in February, 2023. Meanwhile, JCTR has expressed concern about the country’s debt restructuring delays, saying the stagnation in the debt restructuring process is contributing to the high living cost.
