THE Zambia Forestry and Forest Industries Corporation (ZAFFICO) has announced a downward adjustment on eucalyptus and pine roundwood timber from K1,515.15 to K1,149.29 and K1,454.55 per cubic metre, respectively. In a statement, Tuesday, ZAFFICO Public Relations Manager Irene Chipili attributed the price reduction to the need to provide a conducive trading environment and sustainability of the timber industry in the country. “The Zambia Forestry and Forest Industries Corporation (ZAFFICO) PLC would like to inform its customers that reductions have been effected on Eucalyptus and Pine roundwood from K1,515.15 to K1,149.29 per cubic metre and K1,454.55 per cubic metre respectively.
