MINISTRY of Local Government Permanent Secretary for Technical Services Nicholas Phiri says the ministry has concluded its consultation process with relevant stakeholders on street vending and they have all agreed on the need to sanitise the city. In January this year, Local Government and Rural Development Minister Gary Nkombo directed the Lusaka City Council and all local authorities to clear out street vendors trading in undesignated areas.
