The Lusaka high court has set November 8, 2017 as date for ruling on case to answer in the murder case involving Chilanga Member of Parliament Keith Mukata and Charmain Musonda.

This is a matter in which Mukata and Musonda are accused of murdering a security guard who was manning the law firm belonging to Mukata AKM legal practitioners

In their submissions ahead of the ruling, the duo asked the court to drop the murder charges, arguing that the State had failed to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt.

The duo said the prosecution had not found the element of murder due to failure to establish the owner of the gun and who pulled the trigger.
