THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court yesterday conducted a scene visit to Mongu, Western Province, in a matter in which former Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) Chief Executive Officer Mateyo Kaluba and six others are facing 41 counts of abuse of authority and attempting to export Mukula. While there, the court viewed 16 impounded Mukula-laden containers. In this matter, Kaluba is jointly charged with former director of the forestry department Ignatius Makumba, retired brigadier general Gilbert Wails Mulenga of the Zambia Army and former executive director at the Office of the President special division Never Njobvu.
