A 57-YEAR-OLD man of Mansa has been dragged to the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing a motor vehicle, motorcycle and other items valued at K44 million from Lands and Natural Resources Minister Elijah Muchima. Christopher Chimanya is facing three counts of theft. In counts one and two, Chimanya is charged with theft of a motor vehicle. It is alleged in the first count that Chimanya, on dates unknown but between January 1, 2023 and July 30, 2023, in Lusaka, did steal a motor vehicle, namely a Land Cruiser with registration number AAV 3505, valued at K490,000, the property of Elijah Muchima.
