KONKOLA Copper Mines (in provisional liquidation) has sued Konkola Mineral Resources Limited and KCM (SmelterCo) Limited in the Lusaka High Court seeking a declaration that the transfer of 78 companies and 15 environmental licenses to the two companies was illegal and as such, null and void. KCM (in provisional liquidation), which has cited the Attorney General as the third respondent, wants the transfer of 61 properties and two environmental licenses to Konkola Mineral Resources Limited to be declared illegal, null and void.
