THE Zambia Athletics (ZA) says the postponement of the All-African Games is devastating and would greatly reduce chances of qualifying more athletes for the World Championships. Speaking in an interview Wednesday, ZA president Elias Mpondela said many athletes were not just preparing to qualify for the African Games but getting ready to participate having already qualified. The 13th edition of the African games which was slated for the 4th to 19th of August this year have been postponed to 2024 after an agreement between the competition’s major stakeholders.
