COMMONWEALTH Games bronze medalist Patrick Chinyemba has described his Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualification as a dream come true. Chinyemba knocked out Tunisian boxer Eddine Zidie in the third round to win the only gold medal for Zambia and Southern Africa at the Dakar boxing tournament which was used as a qualifier for next year’s Olympic Games. Zambia only managed to win two medals at tournament that was held in Senegal with Felisfus Nkandu earning bronze. The Zambia Boxing Federation (ZBF) had sent eight boxers for the championship which attracted a total of 41 countries. Chinyemba landed a good combinations of punches that sent his Zidie to the canvas, who was later stretched out of the ring for medical attention....
