NGWERERE Police Station has arrested a football coach accused of swindling multiple teenage boys by falsely claiming to be recruiting players for the Zambia Under-17 National Football Team. According to a press statement released by Zambia Police Public Relations Officer Rae Hamoonga, the suspect, identified as 29-year-old Gift Mumba of Zani Muone East, posed as a national team coach and collected large sums of money from at least eight victims. “The case of Obtaining Money by False Pretences was recorded through Muwanjuni Police Post.
