POLICE in Lusaka have detained former Zambia Revenue Authority commissioner general Kingsley Chanda for allegedly evading call outs. Chanda spent a night in cells at Woodlands Police Station where he has been detained since yesterday morning. Earlier on Thursday, the Joint Investigation Team interrogated Chanda in the company of his lawyers, before leading him to the detention cell. In a statement, Thursday, Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga withheld details of Chanda’s arrest, saying he would avail them once formalities were concluded. “Police in Lusaka have detained Mr Kingsley Chanda former Zambia Revenue Authority Commissioner General.
