THE Anti-Corruption-Commission (ACC) says in 2023, it seized assets worth K756,452,853 and also recorded 38 arrests and 17 convictions. And the Commission says investigations relating to former foreign affairs minister Stanely Kakubo’s involvement in a suspicious financial transaction with the Chinese are ongoing, assuring that progress has been made. Meanwhile, the Commission says the delay in taking former Auditor General Dr Dick Sichembe’s corruption case to court is due to various factors.
