SPEAKER of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti has approved Petauke Independent member of parliament Emmanuel Jay Banda’s request to move a private members’ motion urging government to re-introduce subsidies on mealie meal. And Banda says every well-meaning member of parliament should support the motion because it will help the people to be able to afford mealie meal.
