LUNTE PF member of parliament Mutotwe Kafwaya says there is need to thoroughly investigate the promotion of Zesco Managing Director Victor Mapani’s niece. On Friday, Beenzu Mapani’s letter of promotion went viral on social media and some netizens alleged that it was criminal to promote one’s own daughter. According to the letter, Beenzu was appointed to become the Senior Legal Officer – Litigation Lusaka. And in an interview, Zesco Board Chairperson Vickson Ncube said action would be taken if anything amiss was discovered in the manner in which Beenzu was promoted.
