THERE was a gender ministry previously, but we didn’t see much progress done through that fully-fledged ministry, says Community Development and Social Services Minister Doreen Mwamba. And Mwamba says GBV cases have increased because of the toll-free line set up by her ministry. On the other hand, Zambezi East UPND MP Brian Kambita says some GBV cases should be heard in camera to allow people to speak freely, noting that certain cases are too embarrassing to be addressed in open court.
