TRANSPARENCY International Zambia Executive Director Maurice Nyambe has commended government for fulfilling its promise to enact and operationalise the Access to Information law. On the other hand, MISA Zambia Chapter Chairperson Lorraine Chisanga says operationalising the ATI law marks a significant step towards promoting transparency, accountability and good governance in the country. Meanwhile, former ministry of information and broadcasting services permanent secretary Amos Malupenga says signing of the SI just a few months after the law was passed is encouraging.
