ZAMBIA’S Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dr Chola Milambo has led Zambians in the diplomatic corps and those working in various organisations in New York in celebrating the southern African country’s 60 years of membership in the United Nations. The event, held on Thursday, also commemorated Zambia’s 60th Independence anniversary gained on 24th October, 1964. Zambia joined the UN on December 1, 1964.
