ZAMMSA has dispelled claims circulating on social media that suggest interference from State House in procurement, describing the allegations as false and misleading. Recently, former ZAMMSA director general Victor Nyasulu said ZAMMSA was a stressful environment due to political interference, disclosing that he used to receive calls from presidential advisors regarding procurement. In a statement, Friday, ZAMMSA Senior Corporate Communications Manager Bradley Chingobe said allegations suggesting interference from State House or the cancellation of an awarded contract were wholly unfounded. ā€œThe Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) wishes to dispel false and misleading claims circulating on social media regarding the procurement of Health Centre Kits.
