GOVERNMENT has partially reopened Kapiri Girls Technical Secondary School to allow the critical examination classes to resume learning. Last month, government closed the school, which is in Kapiri Mposhi district, following a reported third fire at the institution within a week. Speaking during a press briefing, Wednesday, Education Minister Douglas Syakalima directed all grade nine and 12 pupils to report to school on June 18, without fail. “On the 18th of May 2023, the government took the undesired decision to close Kapiri Girls Technical Boarding Secondary School due to incidents of fires on three occasions in the same month of closure.
