MPONGWE CDF Committee Chairperson Nebert Mukwalala says the awarding of a K100,000 CDF loan to the area member of parliament’s wife was on merit because she qualified. Residents in Mpongwe have challenged their area member of parliament Gregory Ngowani to return the K100, 000 which his wife obtained as a loan from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), citing conflict of interest. Emmanuel Kasambo, a resident of Mpongwe took Ngowani to task, demanding that his family return the money obtained from CDF.
