THE National Assembly has ratified the appointment of Jack Kalala to serve as member of the Anti-Corruption Commission Board. Others whose appointments were ratified on Wednesday are Kephas Kapamba Katongo and Eva Jhala to serve as members of the Judicial Complaints Commission. This was during the adoption of the report of the Parliamentary Select Committee which is chaired by Chama South PF MP, Davison Mung’andu. Debating the ratification, Mpika MP Francis Kampyanga noted with concern that there was no youth representation amongst those appointed despite being experienced. “The role of the Anti Corruption Commission Board is among others to formulate policy and provide strategic direction to the commission.
