HOME Affairs and Internal Security Minister Jack Mwiimbu has challenged Edgar Lungu to emulate former UK prime minister Rishi Sunak by stepping down and allowing others to lead the Patriotic Front. Recently, Rishi Sunak resigned as prime minister and Conservative Party leader after losing to Keir Starmer’s Labour Party. And in a Facebook Post, Saturday, Lungu congratulated the newly elected UK’s prime minister, adding that lessons should be learnt from the UK election and that people should be allowed to exercise their rights when they call for change and should not be arrested or ejected from Parliament.
