BUS operators at Intercity bus terminus in Lusaka yesterday staged a protest by halting the operations of long-distance buses, leaving several travellers stranded. Some long-distance drivers said the protest was sparked by the suspension of Juldan Motors’ license, which they described as unfair. But Transport and Logistics Minister Frank Tayali advised operators who were willing to resume their operations to do so, saying the suspension of Juldan Motors was merely being used as a scapegoat for the protest.
