CHIEF Justice Mumba Malila says the current gender based violence (GBV) statistics in the country are alarming. Speaking during a multi-sectoral approach in addressing gender based violence, Justice Malila said there was an urgent need to address GBV through comprehensive and robust mechanisms. “It is with both a heavy heart and sense of duty that I address you today on the pressing and deeply troubling issue of gender-based violence.
