ECONOMIC Front leader Wynter Kabimba says Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms are already being used to resolve criminal cases in villages. Meanwhile, the Human Rights Commission (HRC) says the use of ADR in the criminal justice system has potential to enhance access to justice and reduce violation of human rights of accused persons arising from prolonged pre-trial detention.
