THE Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Zambia has condemned Mazabuka police for arresting Wave FM journalist Hope Chooma “under unclear circumstances”. But Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Auxensio Daka says Chooma was also reported to the police for allegedly assaulting Pascalina Namachila, warning journalists to be extra careful as campaigns for the 2026 elections draw nearer.
