GREEN Buffaloes Rugby Club was crowned champion of the Mufulira 7’s tournament after narrowly edging Red Arrows 14-12 in a tightly contested encounter over the weekend. Green Buffaloes coach Duncan Nyirenda expressed his satisfaction after winning the Mufulira 7’s tournament, seeing it as a positive sign of the team’s improvement leading up to the National Rugby League (NRL). The champions won a prize of K10,000 after the finals at the cage.
