DR Dick Sichembe has expressed shock at the summons issued against him by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), saying it has never happened before that an Auditor General is summoned by a sister institution. But ACC Director General Tom Shamakamba, who has argued that there is nothing strange about the summons, says no one is being spared at the Ministry of Finance and the Auditor General’s office in the ongoing investigations. Dr Sichembe was expected to be questioned by the ACC yesterday but the interrogation could not take place after he informed them that he was unwell and, therefore, would not be available.
